I look at it this way, if I can't recover my investment in a short time, it'* not worth it. I could buy a scooter to drive to work. But when I sat down, (I have a lot of free time at work and have a calculator on my desk) Figure in the drive to work, the difference in mileage, the cost of fuel, the number of times I could drive it to work, it ended up taking 10 years to break even. And how many scooters would even last that long.

I think we touched on that a page or so back, but ya, there is a loss, not a gain. But no need to muddy the waters with truth.

I took all of that in to account. I could drive it between April and November. I work about half those days, and let'* say of those days, 20% will have bad weather, and another 10% will be questionable. That really don't leave many days. I also deal with country roads with speeds over 45 and narrow. Not the safest place to ride a scooter.
I am surprised that in the USA isn't used LPG as alternative fuel. For example at us it is a lot of cars which go with this equipment.
Here I apply some photo with installation
The price of such equipment ~700$-1000$, 100$ registration in Ukraine
Actually in the car I have two fuel systems GAS and LPG transition from one fuel passes to another automatically, and it is possible and in manual. Economy of 50 %
If the equipment is correctly established, all works safely. System pressure 1.6 bar (in балонне 1.6-2.0 bar)
