Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

Okay, so there are definitely some good guys out there...

Ohhh too bad about the workplace rule. I'm sure they do that to avoid "workplace romances" gone bad, which is probably a decent idea sometimes but in my experiences, at least with people where I work, it really doesn't seem to be an issue (which is good, because I swear half of where I work has at least hung out-if not gone out- with the other half of the people-we tend to all be friends around there).

No, no there are...I've read about them (okay, sorry...stole that line, anyone know what show that came from??).

Actually, seriously there are good guys. Some of my guy friends are the best guys ever-they are sweet, thoughtful and respectful. Granted, they aren't going out with me, but they are still good guys so I have proof they're out there.

Exactly they are your friends....therefore they don't count....it has to be a dateable guy...Sure I have some Awesome guy friends....all of which want nothing to do with dating me because I'm not asian and wont look good next to their "custom" car at some gay hooptie car show..There good guys just not the dateable type...so they don't count.....

You all seem to be good, even more proof the good ones do exist...in Michy no less....
When you find those "good guys" In Michigan let me know...It'* all still a fairy tale to me..."Once Upon a Time a girl was dumb enough to believe that there was such a thing as a good guy, when she found out there was no such thing her whole little dream world was crushed......" :?

Some of them are dateable, and they want to date me no less. It'* my choice not to, which has everything to do with where I'm at and nothing to do with them. Believe it or not, I'm the one who usually pulls out the friend card.

Well, a little optimism never hurt. If you are so sure you're going to get crushed, then you will.
Now, I wonder what the Michy guys will have to say to defend themselves...

See the thing is....when one relationship goes bad and you have no idea that isnt cool
Then the next relationship dies because he never wants to see you and isnt around
then the 3rd guy emails you on your 20th birthday and breaks up with you for no reason at all and doesn't give you an explination then dissapears you kinda give up on ever finding a guy whose "good" or whatever you wanna call it....I have yet to be proven wrong on my "there is no such thing as a good guy" theroy

i dont want to chime in when im not wanted, but sixty, cheer up! trust me i know whats its like to be forgotten about with no reason why. three years later i still wonder. but the fact is you have to try and be happy and not dwelll on it. youll never get a reason, i guarentee it. its sad about that but life sucks ya know?

the bottom line is, guys are more attracted to girls with confidence and screw the past ********. if they werent even decent enough to give you a reason, then whos gives a **** what they have to say? forget them, be happy and cheer up. losing deadbeats like them is a move for the positive not the negative!

Personally I could give a crap about the past boyfriends...well except for Matt..he'* my buddy...but other than that...I don't even care.....But I guess I have a pretty crappy outlook on life seeing as how the past year and a half as gone for me.....I still stand firm on the "no good guys" theory...when I'm proven wrong (which will never happen) then I'll change my mind....

Well, with an attitude like that, how could you be wrong?

Seriously, I get the feeling that you really are going to refute everything I say. Which is fine, whatever. Just remember, you life isn't the only one that'* hit bumps, we've all be through crap...it'* all about you attitude.
