Sheesh, I was joking. Really, it'* not a game, at least if there is, I'm not playing it. Ever think the one reason you can't figure out what we want is because we haven't quite figured it out either?

Gotta say his that line he gave you, Christine, wasn't the worst. I've heard and used worse (when I've had too many). At least he didn't earn himself a good one-hander (slap on the cheek).

Like PJ said, there is no game. Don't worry about attracting a woman -just try to forget about wanting one (real bad anyhow) and they'll come to you -I can assure you that, especially in Chicago where there more than a few good single women who are looking.
Hang out with the guys and have fun. Just relax about getting a lady NOW and focus on doing other things that make you happy (one thing women love is a man who is happy and is confident -so my special lady say'* ). Your time will come and will be well worth the wait. I too tried harder than was necessary and was not getting anywhere fast, and after I just let it all slide for a while I found women couldn't stand the change (they seemed persistant LOL). I still held my ground, and hung out with them as friends, because I didn't want to rush or be rushed into anything.
Now one of my old gf'* appeared from out of nowhere and we hung out as friends with the rest of our 'crowd' (i.e. friends we've grown up with together) although I've made mistakes I surely hope to never do again, we've got a relationship that I've never thought could exist.

Actually, seriously there are good guys. Some of my guy friends are the best guys ever-they are sweet, thoughtful and respectful. Granted, they aren't going out with me, but they are still good guys so I have proof they're out there.
