Default off-beat question about the forum here

Excuse my lack of competence, but I have a question on replying to posts:

How do you get the posts to show the user'* name when you're quoting someone else? For example, if I want to quote someone, I always just use the little quote button just below the subject box, copy in my text and then hit the quote button again. For whatever reason, it doesn't show the user'* ID that I'm quoting.

What am I doing wrong?!?!?!?

If you use the buttons in the reply page you have to specify the name you're quoting, thusly= [quote="GonneVille"]

This will give you a quote window thus=
