Well, anyone want to take bets on another ugly, anemic, POS from Ford?

ford dosent have the money to build that, trust me, ford hasnt built a decent car in years, and i wonder why jaguar sucks....
expect a fwd 250+ hp mid size car that will look like the focus, of what it is now
prob be some what decent....

ford is one of the companys that needs to watch what gm is doing, gm is pulling rwd platforms from aust, and making some bad *** cars, look at the new g8, that car is gonna put smile son everyones face, 6 speed some where near 400hp, and a ute and wagon forum coming, the new camero, and cts are amazing cars, cts-c is just plain redicous, no one needs a 550 hp somthing four door, thats ******* awesome, the new camero is gonna do what dodge is hoping to do with the challenger, bring in the guys who had one/ never got one....and they both did it right where ford fucked up and stuck some pos v8 in a great looking car 300 hp, lmmfao..the gto had 400hp..its like hey ford wtf is going on?

it just makes me wonder ith the cafe thing going on, which means 35mpg by 2020, is gonna play out to supercars, v8s, rwds, large cars

I have seen the concept before, if not i saw one VERY similar two or three years ago at the Carlisle All Ford Nationals, then named as the 'Ford 427'. It is rather plain looking but at the same time it looks strong.

I agree Ford should pull some aussi stuff back home, I am sure the Falcon would really take off over here as much as the G8 will. Hell they should have the euro focus over here, the euro one looks much more sophisticated (i guess thats the way to put it) while the on we have now, especially the '08 model looks like absolute crap IMO.

I'm fairly interested to see more about this though...

OK, I did not read. all that. even though that one pic is a sharp looking car.

this is a bad *** looking side shot. Not that Ford will copy it 100% such as rim and wheel well size but.... its a great looking car.

Ford made a huge mistake by naming the successor (if thats what you want to call it)of the Taurus to be the 500.
even if they wanted to change up engine and chassis for the newer years.

The older and for that matter newer younger buyers would have taken it much better if they started off by calling it the Ford Taurus 500. if that was the case they would have still have been the raining champs of selling American auto'*

Now will they bounce back? You bet your *** they will. Just the name Taurus alone will bring out elder folks to trade in their few year old Taurus'* and trade them in.

Just as Pontiac should stop calling our cars stupid letter and number names

good old fashion names sell.

jim, that picture is of the Interceptor, and it is speculated that it may be something like the new taurus since they were both designed by the same person.

If it looks anything like the interceptor concept its HOT HOT HOT!!!! However, it will take alot to change the taurus name

Sure wont be called a taurus........They want to compete with the Chrysler 300 so the only logical name for ford to use is the ford "Three Hundred"
