I go into a fast food and watch 4 people ringing away on different registers as they move along and weed out the lunch time crowd. But then, to be an assistant manager at a place like that means you promise to go get that GED and ya show up everyday, sponging off yesterdays carnage to your uniform the best you can. Franchisee'* cant afford or refuse to foot the bill for quality people. It all about numbers and getting more shops. The 20'* keep slipping out of the registers, and it'* getting so that you can afford to go buy a T-bone and cook it yourself rather than buy a DoubleStack Meal w/Coke.
