Police in my area tend to be very unhelpful and lazy though. In a situation like this, I'm almost positive they would be no help to me. It'* been proven in the past. Out of curiosity, where would I go if I were unable to solve a problem through my local police dept?
You can move on to the county, and state level. They cant do anything about this guy, but they can tell you who to contact to file a complaint agenst your local police dept. They MUST deal with all complainte, no mater how small they may be. ID theft is a REAL problem, can cost you your savings, your job, even your freedom. If you feel your not getting results, first ask to speek to a supervisor. You have to go threw each hoop, don't skip any. Have all yoru ducks in a row when you go in. And most important, keep a cool head, no mater what happens, no not loose your cool. Do not make threats, use profanity, nothing, just talk calm and collect. Trust me, I went to school for testifing in court. How you act is the most important thing.

dont no what else to do...it was a good laugh but now its just plain annoying...
You shoudl be able to contact your phone company and have the number blocked. Most will do this.
most systems allow you to do this yourself. Hope he isn't smart enough to do caller id spoofing.

I didn't read thru all 3 pages and just wanted to add that when you get those calls from him, dial *57 to run a trace and then call & file a report with your police. The police are the only ones who can get the trace report from the phone company and he'll soon find himself in cuffs.
