eeeh, all said the police will, what take your information, and that will probably be the last that is heard from it. Maybe if your get your local FBI involved with it, or find a good lawyer, I don't see it going much of anywhere.

Many will disagree with me, but I for one have no problem finding where the guy lives, and taking matters into my own hands.

at the bottom he deas state that he should ofcourse take the high road not the fantasy of beat the pulp out of some one that prolly desearves it.

we all know that its the cops that should and will be the ones that will be dealing with this. but ofcourse when somthing like this comes up, exsoecially us young guys we wish we could just take care of it "OUR" way and leave the cops out of it.

and we also know all thoughts like this change once you have a family. we all know taking care of the family and making sure they are safe is alway before our own pride.

There are some really stupid ideas posed in this topic that **** me off. Here'* why:

1. Some of them are illegal.
2. It invites more of the same, and will only make the 'battle' go to a higher level.
3. It won't solve the problem.
4. The ideas are grossly immature.

The web is a shitty place because of people like the harasser in this topic. Deal with them correctly or sit there and suck it up. If you deal with a person like this directly, you deserve what comes back to you in the end.

The world gets shittier when other wannabe hackers come in and say "I'm gonna get him back, watch this!"

MySpace is a perfect example of these little wars gone too far.

Call the cops. Hand over all the information including the emails between you and ebay. Hand over the IP address. Give them a list of dates, times and restaraunts that delivered food.

Then wash your hands of the problem.

im not in any way disagreeing with you wren. i do agree that the world is getting really shitty.

yess 90% of our ideas including my own that was posted are immature and stupid. how ever i did say dreams of what we would "like" to do. we all know that iit doesnt solve anyhitng.

i am not one to start a conlfict i try to avoid them in any way possible. but it doesnt mean that im not going to wish i could do somthing about it.

i say alot of stupid things and mostly just to try to be comedic. not alway truthful.

what the helll happened.. they are saying im linked to a suspended user.. i dont no what this person is doing with my personal info he got but now its really getting out of hand.. suspended my ebay and i have alot of payments i put into my bamk account and now that they are cleared i have no way to access my ebay to get there address to send them there items... :? im at a lost of words..

I said call the cops and file a report. You have his IP address. That'* almost as good as a sample of his freaking DNA. Actually, it'* BETTER than DNA because it tells you WHERE as well as WHO.

You need to take action, man, before this gets out of hand. Call the police, call ebay. It'* time to stop this crap before it get really ugly. If you wait any longer, you WILL lose money and future customers. I guarentee you. So that'* what you do. Get a phonebook, call the cops. They can find the address from the IP (yes it'* possible) and with the emails, you can probably make a case. If that doesn't work, sue. Get a good lawyer, and get him for every penny you can.

if it'* been covered, I'm sorry. But I saw a lot of do the same to him, get back at him, etc. So I just skipped over it. By ordering food with your name and address that'* identy fraud. Contacting the police, or FBI will have the problem corrected. Give them his IP, as well as any other info you have. Print up all you can, Emails, etc. Record phone calls if you can. ID fraud will get him away from you for a very long time. You can also do a reverse look up to find out exactly where he'* getting his internet connection and file a complaint with the ISP. DO NOT take maters in to your own hands, calling him, doing the same to him, meeting him in a dark ally. All these will get YOU in trouble, and get him off the hook.

The longer you wait to do what wren has suggested, the harder its' going to be to track everything he'* doing, and the more damage that will be done to YOUR personal reputation both locally and online (like ebay).
