This is half of my final update in this thread.

Had the car running, hood up. Opened the garage door, ran around to the front, slammed the hood. Car died then revived itself. Check engine.

I shut it off and start it up, check engine gone, car seems fine...

Back out of the garage, get out, shut the garage door, dies and restarts, check engine light..... This isn't good.

So I drive it around the block for old times sake, and I can't get anything past 1/4 throttle. Sputters and dies until I lift. So I've concluded I have one of the following issues now. Bad EDIS, or a leak in my induction somewhere. Couldn't get the crappy little laptop to pull the codes last night, so I think it needs to get a scan disk. If that fails... I guess I need to go back to square one on this situation. Methinks it'* just a leaking intake pipe though. It seems logical, but that EDIS is a touchy SOB and I'm fairly certain if it went bad, I'd get the same reaction.

Back in motion. Car rolls, starts, runs.

Had a plethora of little pissy issues jump up which caused severe aggro. Final step now. My chip is on it'* way to Middlesburg, FL to pay a visit to the man that made it for me the first time. He has to reprogram it to handle the brand new, fully J-Modded transmission. It'* used to the old 183k 1995 slushbox. Not only that but it still thinks it has 3.27 gears vs. the 3.73'* I installed. So if I'm not mistaken, that means I'll be up and running to the fullest extent by late next week or early the following week. I just need to re-plumb my tranny cooler setup, get one new lugnut, and I'll be golden (knock on wood).

I sorta question these used gears, but I'll be happy if they hold for a few thousand miles. All the more reason to start eying some 4.10'* or 4.30'*.... or even 4.56'*!

With all of the right pieces the first time around (tune specifically) it'd be done by now. I've been dragging my feet on this ever since I got the trans in and had the first of little problems pop up. To sink such a large chunk of my cash into that car, and have it not functioning 100% immediately afterwards is typically a given for me, but extremely disheartening. I am proud to say that in the end, I can now set up my own gears. I only had to do that twice
