Yup, I agree too. Change the pattern each time.

The neighbors got a kick out of that. Also mowed a big "C" into my neighbors front yard. Their last name started with C. haha.That got some comments too.

I vary.. although sometimes it'* tough with 46" of cutting happiness...

But my yard is so small it doesn't matter.
No real pattern involved, probably looks like I was drunk when I did it.
But, the landlord comes around with a gas mower once in a while (usually when rent is due) and does it a little better.
But, when I own my hose, I'll probably do a different pattern each time.
