Default Mowing the Lawn

OK, So i was mowing lawn over the weekend and i decided to be all fancy and stuff... I cut it at a Diagonal!!!

So, what seems to be the preference here? Straight forward mow it and get it over or make it a work of art?

the most fun one I ever did was circles starting from the center and working my way out.

The neighbors got a kick out of that. Also mowed a big "C" into my neighbors front yard. Their last name started with C. haha. That got some comments too.

So many trees in my yard it would be impossible for any pattern.

My corn rows however are perfectly straight

...I use on of these.

But my yard is so small it doesn't matter.
No real pattern involved, probably looks like I was drunk when I did it.
But, the landlord comes around with a gas mower once in a while (usually when rent is due) and does it a little better.
But, when I own my hose, I'll probably do a different pattern each time.
