WOW...I was bidding on the complete seasons 1-10 of Friends on Ebay...its actually even the Asian version, but it plays in English.

The total price on it is now over $110.....and you can pick up an actual American version, brand new, on Amazon for 65 bucks before shipping..it blows my mind that people dont realize this.

Its been repeated several times, because I was watching several copies of it, and bidding in the neighborhood of 50 bucks total, especially on the used ones, and they were still going for well over 100 bucks!!

Just goes to support my theory that people are stupid.

Thats actually a great an idea, but I dont really have the money for such a risky venture, because about the time i decided to do that, people would suddenly realize whats going on and stop paying that much for them.

And how much is the cornflake going for Gumball?

Well I decided I was going to buy one of these 65 dollar wonders and try and sell it, and if that didnt work, I wanted one anyway...

So I click on it and I read this next to both of the 65 dollar versions offered:

Comments: Please read: NO DVDS (NONE) NO DVDS-This is for the EMPTY OUTER BOX ONLY- Ideal if you have some of the dvds already-IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP-NO DVDS-EMPTY BOX ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel pretty dumb right now....just goes to support my theory that people are in fact stupid

As in any person-to-person sale and even more so, Ebay purchases are always "caveat emptor". I've even purchased new CDs online and in one case the shipping showed as $0 until you clicked on paypal to complete the transaction, then they added $8. I cancelled out of the paypal and reported it to ebay. Took a few weeks to clear off my payment due list.

And Jim, I'm glad you outbid me on that giant cornflake, I couldn't find a bowl big enough for it.
