I was driving by the reservoir a couple years ago and I stopped to let a big turtle cross the road. By the time he made it from the double-yellow line to the shoulder, I was sitting on my hood with the engine off watching it walk.

those snappers are mean bstrds. and the reason i dont have anything but bottom feeder fish in my big pond. i ran over one one time with the atv and it turned around and tried to bite my tire.

The name fits. I'm a Maurice and I tend to snap at times but I've gotten better with age unlike the turtle.

So, the fingers you almost burned off the other day are now being shoved in the face of a snapping turtle???
