Indeed. So you see, a 150 MB/* rating for a SATA hard drive is too high. It'* probably just that since a SATA 2.0 controller can do 3000 megabits per second (8 bits to 1 byte), it has lower latencies than the SATA 150 controller, which is 150MB/*. This is probably not necessary information, but it goes to show that a SATA II hard drive on a SATA II controller may be a split second quicker in seek time, which is already calculated in milliseconds.
