I was watching Top Gear and Clarkson mentioned despite the Shelby having more HP, the Roush very was actually faster around their track due to the improved suspension. Is it true the Shelby uses factory suspension components?

I saw one in Alexandria 2 months ago, just as the new owner was driving it off the lot. Funny thing was he drove it right over to Orielly'* and ordered some go fast goodies. Not sure what he got but said he was getting some other parts online from a more specialized shop.
