Default exhaust questions (i know i know...)

ok christmas is comin up soon and ive been pondering a few things to give to bonnie...i know everybody asks this question but whats the best exhaust options for me...im not looking for anything that will set car alarms off, i only want the sound when im giving it throttle, know what i mean? I also know the fact that me getting a dual exhaust set up would be for looks only which is why that would probably be a waste of time. I know that the stock set up cannot be beaten but i just want something that will give it a little growl...also what about the dimensions of the cat because i was thinking of changing that too (im almost positive that my exhaust dimensions are 2.25 in)...thanks a lot guys and i apprecaite all of your opinons (any sound clips would be nice although i know that they dont do it justice)

to be sure what diameter exhaust you have you are gonna have to measure....some SE/SLE'* have the 2.25, and others have the 2.5.....but i would have to guess that you have the 2.5.....

as for the cat lots are running the Magnaflow.....its $55 shipped off ebay...

for the muffler there are tons of choices...the BEST option is to attend a meet and here different exhaust setups....video'* dont accuratey represent the sound

Very true, maybe get a bolt in high flow cat from Hoganperformance.com. I got one and am very happy with it. From what I hear the Flowmaster mufflers have a deeper tone to them while the Magnaflow mufflers have a more refined sound to them.

Does your exhaust still have the resonator on it?

Yep, still has the resonator.

If I could have found a factory muffler I would have put one back on at the time.

My 17 YO drives it now and she doesn't care about the sound, so I moved on.
