I usually dislike Rustangs with a passion but this one.....

It'* a beaut and Ford did it well.

Recognize the paint used on the SC Bill?

Look at the size of those plates.

Note the price escalation.

Those hood vents also look very familiar.

A $64k mustang? I agree it looks sweet and they go like stink. But I'd buy a normal GT and have the work done to match and save $15k.

I love these, and I'm not a ford fan (and I'm only a fan of the new gen mustangs, and the old mustangs...none of that nineties crap).

I think people will be willing to pay for the Shelby name, and the logo...also, not many new car buyers are looking to buy something just to replace most of the parts (unless you're going really extreme)

there is only a few stangs that I like but I got to say the cobra is high on the list. There is only 2 mustangs that are in my town that truely scare me and one is a roots blown 99 and the other is a procharged 01 and the guy with the procharged one is prolly one of the nicest guys you will meet and is not cocky at all. unlike so many others that have them

Yea, in my area, mustangs are cruise control for *******. That, and Corvettes. People should learn Mustangs are the poor mans sports car. It'* a sports car that is only popular because of it'* name, even though most of the ones on the road are slow as heck. Even the GTs aren't very mean.

My brother in law is doing exactly that to the 68 his dad gave him in the late 80'*. It'* costing way more than $15k though.

The sticker price was $41 K and then it was marked up $25 K due to its rarity.
The salesman said Ford was making 7,000 of the GT500'* Ya. Right.

I crawled underneath it in the show room and drooled over the suspension and exhaust. This is not a normal Stang.

Note the intercooler hosing and engine details. Should be of particular interest for those who are thinking about an intercooler set up.

Yes, but it wouldn't be an original SHELBY COBRA. That'* what you're paying for on a car like this. It'* value is likely to go up as years go by. These weren't made for middle class folks, the target is the higher income pony car enthusiast. They'll pay that additional $20k profit and not think twice about it.

If I had that kind of disposable income, you can bet there'd be one in my climate-controlled garage. Sitting right next to my 2009 Z/28 and my 2008 Challenger R/T. It'* what dreams are made of.

I'd just have to make sure to hide the keys from my wife.
