ok here is the back story my GF has a 86 olds calais and she has had it for 7 years she is hoping it will last till sept. Here is a clip I think it is pretty close to dead but I am no expert and she wants other ppls knowledge to confirm my suspisions.

It is starting to use oil and coolant so I think she is looking at a new car in the near future or am I wrong.

Heh, actually, all Iron Dukes sound like that. If it is using oil and coolant, replace the head gasket, its a simple job. After that, Just drive it until it locks up. They will go forever.
