Well I am single. I found a board for single people so I was cruising around. According to all the women on the board being a mechanic is a undesireable trait but being a snotty know it all is a turn on. WTF is up with this. Are all mechanic "uneducated" or stupid. Sorry this is prolly a worthless post but I thought it was not even close to reality. some of the smartest people I know work on their own cars and they have PHDs so this thought proccess doesn't make sense to me.

My b/f is a mechanic. I've dated many mechanics. I see nothing wrong with them.

Well I know there are women out there that love mechanic and motorsports but what does the opera have that is so great. honestly to me it is a overpriced bore. but you go to a race and you never know what will happen.

Everyone is different...some like opera...some like octane. That'* what the online dating thing is about...weed out the ones who are not compatible.

maybe I worded it wrong I just think it is BS that girls wouls look down on a guy that works with his hands vs a guy that works in a office. A profession should not be a deciding factor but the quality of the persons personality

And Gojo, some girls are just lame and want a pretty boy that has money. They assume since a guy is a mechanic, that they are broke, and scummy. But as those girls grow up, they will learn to realize that not all "pretty boys" are good guys.

There'* plenty of women that like a guy that knows how to use his hands. Ever hear of a woman saying what a great massage she got from her boyfriend that works all day in an office and that'* it.?

Nope..no muscles in the hands.. now..a mechanic... (I've never once been accused of giving a poor massage)
