I have a comment for all of you. Just because someone says you have a 4cyl sounding exhaust big deal I have a friend that runs a 4 cyl srt4 and you know what with the exhaust he has on there he could sound similar to a v8 not as good but for a short bit it sounds ok. maybe the guy was not talking about some riced out civic. there are some respectable 4cyl out there. now go ahead and flame me I don't care

Sounded like ****. And made my ears bleed at 2000rpm with the resonance.

The issue isn't about a 4 cylr being a POS, rather the insult that Vince'* 8cyl didn't sound as beefy as the guy expected. However there is no contest between the power of an 8 vs a 4, and one would expect the exhaust to sound more to equal the power....let'* not make this into something it is not.

all I am saying is that with all the thousands of setups out there you take to be insulted. it is your decision how you take it. all i am saying is that you all went to the riced out exhaust when there is some decent sounding exhaust setups out there. Take me how you will that is all I was saying is that you all assume he meant one thing when he could have meant something different. you don't always have the cammed rumble that 8 are known for and the northstar is not exactly the most throaty 8 I have ever heard

Generally Speaking....... 8 cylinders should be louder, deeper and throatier than the smaller, 4 cylinders.... there are some 4 cylinders that would walk all over the bonneville, but that'* not what this thread is about......nobody is putting down the 4 cylinders, and I agree.... don't make it into something that it'* not.
