I don't know, all I heard was "commonly known fact among we women" then I tuned her out.

Yea...that'* understandable...you're already multi-tasking since while watching the game, you have to figure out what to do with the hand NOT holding the beer and ask yourself. "...do I covet the remote? or scratch myself in the..."

Can we still go off topic like this in the Lounge? Sorry Vince... back to you being insulted...

I don't know much about ricer exhaust. I used to drive a 93 Nissan Sentra whose exhaust manifold had completely fallen off. It sounded so awful, and almost every American next to me at stoplights tried to race me. The strange thing is, I was just accelerating normally every time.

One thing I love about the 3800 engines is the low end torque so that the engine doesn't have to spin up so much. That Sentra needed about 3500 to keep up with traffic. If your GXP sounds anything like that, there'* a serious problem.

And I probably would have told a fat momma joke at that Honda dude.

I think it'* funny.... When I was a kid, we had a name for the sound that fart can makes.... broken. I remember going out with some buddies one night and the pipe on my S10 broke between the cat and the muffler. I was embarrassed enough that I couldn't wait to get it home and fix it.

Kids today actually want that sound....

We here at BC are very focused on the appearance, style, condition, performance and upkeep of our cars. Ricers I am sure try to do the same, but when it comes to performance , they think they know how to make their car fast, but they really don't. Let me guess 99% would say, yeah CAI and exhuast... I am pretty sure they wouldn't consider my stock diamater bonneville exhuast vs. a more restrictive but louder exhuast. In fact, i think in that 99%, none of them would know what vtec actually means anyways.....Variable Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control. Vince, my point is you are part of such a large knowledge base, and supportive atmosphere, that you should laugh because of their ignorance.
