I'm so old . . .
I remember when MTV played nothing but music videos.
I remember when wrestling was still WWF and they only had two pay per views, and titles only changed then. Or, once a month or so they had Saturday Night Main Event on after the 11 o'clock news.

If you people can remember that far back............then you still have your memory..........that'* not old....................what did I just say again?
I remember watching Night Gallery and watching Wolfman Jack at midnight on the weekends.
I remember when cigarettes were 87 cents a pack. I remember getting penny candy and candy bars were less than 25 cents.
I remember when Pepsi came in 8 glass bottles to a cardboard carton and you could return them for 10 cents.
I remember going to the movies and getting in with pepsi caps.
Now I feel really old :(

I know I'm not the oldest codger here, but I remember (vaguely):
Getting our first COLOR TV! (still had to get off your a$$ to change channels - or make your kids do it for you (like my dad did - called me in from outside once to make me do it...he thought he was pretty funny))
"Kung Fu" wasn't a rerun.
"Link" on the "Mod Squad".
"Midnight Special"
TV stations actually went off the air around 1 AM and back on around 6 AM
They played the national anthem when they went on & off air.
We went outside and played for entertainment (i.e. no computers, video games)
We went to the theater to see a movie (i.e. no VCR, DVD, HBO (came later))
Those movies cost 25 cents at the base theater and you got a cool cartoon before the show.
My dad complaining that the price of gas was getting ridiculous at 32 cents/gallon.
Cassette tapes were state-of-the-art media for music and the equipment was expensive - 8 track was much more popular.
I got more, just can't remember 'em. This sounds like one of those "do you remember when" emails that hits my inbox every now and then. Crap, I'm ancient.
night court and perfect strangers were not on cable and alf was popular but I am young so I am not going to remember stuff like gumball and the first car being made lol

Wow, I remember working for $2.65 an hour and it was a good middle class wage. Gas was 19 cents a gallon, and with a fillup (full service) you got a free car wash-6pack of Coke-washer fluid toped off-and a handy litter bag to hang on your radio ****. Cigarettes were a quater in a vending machine with two pennies taped to the bottom. Rent was $95 dollars a month. Economy cars cost 2k new. I bought my first house for 12k. With a new baby, I gave my wife $30 for groceries etc-And expected a 6pack, carton of cigs-And change back for morning coffees.

I would probably remember a lot more, but, well, ya know..... I wasn't always such an upstanding pillar of the community...
But, doing some surfing earlier, I got reminded of something that made me feel old. Watching The Transformers with my son. He'* now in the USAF, Starscream is an F22, and Optimus Prime is a KW with flames...
