I'm so old . . .
I remember the first microwave
the first VCR
the old ball on a rubber band thing ( and remeber when it broke and the ball hit something and broke it, my mother would use the paddle the beat the hell out of me.)
I remember jagged teeth petals in bikes
Bonanza on tv
mission Impossible
the Untouchables
Starsky & Hutch
Get Smart
The Rookies
Adam 12
Police Woman
and more but this wore me out!!!

I remember....
Watching all the Apollo missions on Black & White TV.
Watching the Challenger explode while standing on the grass in front of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
a time when you had to build your home computer:

and yes, it still works.

We used to have a TI/99 Basic computer. When I was 10, I actually wrote a video game in the basic language. It was summer olympics game, and had activities such as pole vault, and a track run, and the discus throw. It was pretty neat. At the time, we moved up from the paddle game to a brand-spanking new Atari 2600! I wanted to reproduce the visual game on teh computer, and was successful. Wish I would have kept at it.
The only games available for a computer, at the time, were text-based games that would describe a situation, and give you a few choices. You had to enter two word commands. The only thing on the screen was the scrolling dialogue. And you had to load the game using a cassette tape.
Ahh, the memories, heheh.

I remember Happy Days in prime time.
Our station wagon (green with wood on the side) didn't have seat belts and it was OK

Most of the computers I found laying around schools, etc. A few were also given to us at work, and since they were going to be thrown away otherwise, I brought them home.

Does anyone who used the first generation Mac'* remember these?
