I remember when 7-11s were open from 7AM to 11PM. And they were the only stores open on Sunday in the state.

We used to have a TI/99 Basic computer. When I was 10, I actually wrote a video game in the basic language. It was summer olympics game, and had activities such as pole vault, and a track run, and the discus throw. It was pretty neat. At the time, we moved up from the paddle game to a brand-spanking new Atari 2600! I wanted to reproduce the visual game on teh computer, and was successful. Wish I would have kept at it.

The only games available for a computer, at the time, were text-based games that would describe a situation, and give you a few choices. You had to enter two word commands. The only thing on the screen was the scrolling dialogue. And you had to load the game using a cassette tape.

Ahh, the memories, heheh.

Yep i have both a IIgs and a IIc.. all of them worked when i put them in storage. I also have a few Commodore 64'*, 64C'*(beige), and a C128

Most of the computers I found laying around schools, etc. A few were also given to us at work, and since they were going to be thrown away otherwise, I brought them home.

Does anyone who used the first generation Mac'* remember these?
