I'm done (car rant)
Peter:
I looked at the website and there is no mention of any type of warranty. Look at your sales receipt and see what is covered and the terms.
Also their website states the customer is number one so go to them with a positive attitude.

I'm really out of ideas. This week has been absolutely horrible to me. I don't want to be a big pity party, so I'm not gonna go on further. I feel like just giving up. Honda dealership, here I come
I wouldn't give up on American cars because of that. That sounds like that could have been caused by poor maintenance of the previous owner and the slyness of the car dealership covering it up. As others have said, switching to a Honda or Toyota does not guarantee you will not have any major repair issues. Sadly you just bought a car that was put through the ringer and given a car wash and vacuum and put out for sale

Turned out to be a sticky valve. The slipping never pulled a code of any kind, so I think I'm good... For now... Shift kit, here I come!!!

Hey, every car has its quirks, but you seem to be doing OK now...
Put a tranny cooler in it if it doesnt have one, as the mantra around here goes heat is the killer of transmissions. Im saving up for one right now, hopefully to extend the life of my transmission through the hills around here and many long trips i take.
