Ok, so the wife bought a nintendo Wii. Right now I am trying to figure out how to get a connection to my modem. I scan for an access point on the Wii and it finds my modem but it is secure and it is calling for a password or key. I have never used my wireless connection before so I have no idea what this 'key' is. Can I find it on my computer or is it one of the serial numbers on the modem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chris

you have to sign into your Wireless router I would need to know the make to give you proper ip number.
try

or
192.168.1.1
check you security settings you must have wep enabled

192.168.0.0 is not a IP address
your best bet is to try 192.168.1.1 or .2 or 192.168.2.1

try going to 10.0.0.138 and see what happens
if that doesn't work, go to Start>Run>type in CMD>press enter>type in ipconfig /all>press enter
look to see what it says under Default Gateway. Type in the IP address it gives you after that line and see where that takes you.
