i say why not, already spending hundreds upon hundreds of billions on the war. If we had a few mechs running around it would be cool. Yesh, even just for the intimidation factor.

Can't tell where the 'mech is from...nothing from Macross, or from the Gundam series that I know of.

Armored Core perhaps?

Yeah, I don't think so. They just taught Asimo to walk up and down stairs. Something that could handle and/or navigate combat zones is a long ways off, even with a human pilot

It would be cool, though, if for just the intimidation factor...
