well, today i am doing a 30 hour "famine" for church to raise money for starvation. We cant eat for the next 30 hours until 1:30pm tomorrow, this is gunna be so long. :(

Hmmmmm.... I don't get it.

I greatly admire the cause, and you've got my respect for doing something to help others out... but the method seems a bit questionable. It seems a little like shooting yourself in the foot to help victims of gun violence.

Won't you be able to raise more money if you aren't starving? Or is it some sort of deal where you get x amount of $ for every hour you don't eat, like a sponsored walk a thon or something?

Don't get me wrong - again, I think it'* great you are doing something. I just don't see how punishing your body is helping anything.

Hide some Snickers in the bathroom, and get up to "go potty" alot.

You're raising money for starvation by starving yourself? You should instead have a hot dog-eating contest or something.

Good luck! In college I had gone a whole day without eating before. Nowadays, I'm starving by 10am if I don't have anything.

Let'* add a little realism to this one.................
