I need a new freaking job
So I have been a Staples bitch coming up on 3 years now. for the first two and a half years it was actually great fun. My manager was awesome and would buy us all fun things on our shifts and other stuff. Now she got promoted in the company and we now have a TERRRIBLE manager. Hes a heartless evil dude with problems. We have no fun, our entire store'* customer satisfaction ratings took a nosedive and we have lost about 12 employees in the last two months.
I am the most seasoned employee there save one almost manager and the managers themselves. I get treated like crap, getting all the poor shifts and get stuck doing all the work noone else wants to do, because they know i will. Out of an entire work week I am currently scheduled EVERY Friday night Saturday night and Sunday night unless i specifically ask off for them. I am proficient doing EVERYTHING in that store and i NEVER get any 15 minute breaks and I rarely get my 30 minute meal breaks. I still didnt get my maximum raise this year, and we dont get a discount or anything. There are like NO perks to this job anymore. All the associates i was friends with have left. The one bonus i have going for me is that i am leverage now. I have recently done some pretty bad things (show up 30 minutes late, answer my cell phone, take too many coupons, dont fill out logs appropriately) and have yet to get more than a slap on the wrist for it. No write ups, nothing. I was just testing my waters, because I am normally a very good employee. So obviously there is a reason for not being written up, I feel like it will hurt them if i quit before the holiday season, and i dont really feel that bad about it.
So obviously I am done with this job, the ONLY caveat being that if i wait till February or march they will give me a check for $2000 for school. But I dont know if i can take it (i.e. relatively sure i cant). I come home from work so stressed that i cant hardly stand it. I am still in college getting a major in computer aided design and drafting as well as electrical engineering technology, I dont NEEED this stressful of a job yet. So i will eventually have a better job, but i currently dont have ANY money so i need a job to cover food, car, gas, part of insurance and other such things.
/end nonsensical rant
So, WHAT KIND OF JOB SHOULD I APPLY FOR? That will take me just until i co-op and maybe rehire me when I am back in school? I have tried applying at my school and they have not given any response for weeks. Anybody (especially local) have any ideas? I need more than just useless labor. I need to do something meaningful and challenging. My resume kinda shows that. No foodservice, and $9+ per hour is almost necessary.
Resume for those interested...

I would try some temp places and see what they come up with. There are a lot of businesses that that direct hire or temp to hire with temp services.

Labor violation
First of all, as a former HRM, your company is required by most state laws to give you at least a 30min break after 6hours. Sorry 15 min. breaks are a gratuity. If this is happening and you want to "hurt them" just call the state labor board or the ACLU.
Secondly, you think you have it rough...try working for Home Depot for 16 years and 11 months then they just "let me go". Talk about devestation! But I degress! Home Depot would be a great place for you to work, and you could get the $$ amount to start with. now is not a good time. They are generally(unless you are in Fl) doing their hiring in the spring.
If you need more HR advice contact me I will be glad to assist.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest!
