I don't know why either. It should have been direct deposited, but nothing showed up and it should have been in there by now. So much for a nice friday.

but a large number of people seem to think this is just what the economy ordered. so the people who are smarter that the average bear get outvoted. thats why democracy is so wonderful. even the uneducated get a say in the matter

I get about a couple dozen calls at the bank every day about that. The IRS is running very late with the direct deposits. The first couple weeks, they were on top of it, but now people that were supposed to get checks 2 weeks ago STILL haven't gotten it. And you try explaining to someone who makes 20k a year that they don't have their "free" 600 dollars yet

Our news here did an investigation and found out that if you had your electronic filing charges taken from you return then you will get a check mailed to you.
