got the wire off my jaw today, turns out the doctor NEVER took x-rays after he did the surgery, the jaw is roughly 1/8th inch off on the left side....therefore it looks like I get to get my jaw broken again in order to re-algin it properly....doctor says it is "close enough" and it will "come back to normal".....
this just pisses me off even more, especialy since my portion of the bill after insurance paid for the whole ordeal was over $3000 since he was an out of network provider on my insurance....i can probably get out of most of the medical bills but its still going to suck if they have to wire my mouth shut for another 2 months
I'm bringing a tape recorder in for the next followup in the event this goes to a legal case for negligent care on the operation..or whatever its called when a doctor screws up your body...
on the bright side I can sorta chew soft foods now like burritos
but i got to be careful since the jaw does not line up properly.

Don't show up with a recorder. He'll have the right to refuse treating you.
Don't record him without permission. It'* not admissable in court in most cases.
Seek the advice of a malpractice attorney before you. Free consultation.
