Default HOW IMPORTANT IS THIS PLUG.......

This plug I had to disconnect to stop my transmission problems and how long will it take b4 my transimission will mess up......I pluged the plug back in today and when I downshifted to 1st gear the tires locked up for a quick second..........

I would think it is important. What'* it do without it? Maybe a good cleaning is in order.

That looks suspiciously like the main (and only) electrical connector to your trans. It'* a tad important.

10 bucks that tranny wont last more than 2k with that unplugged

I would plug it back in, it wouldn't be there unless it was something important. I usually find that when working on a car that having left over parts is NOT a good thing.

Its been disconnected for 1,700 miles transmission will be serviced wensday for $60 to see whats wrong
