Not Bonneville Related but Still Important
Hi All,
I have been debating whether or not to make this post for several days...but after looking at the poll of the average age of the people in the club I decided that it could be helpful to someone some day. Since many of the guys in the club are in the 18 to 35 age range this may give you something to think about. So here goes:
On 9/11 ,of all days, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and had surgery on 9/12 to remove the tumor and one of my boys. This came as a great shock to me because I do not smoke, don't drink too much, am not overweight, have no family history of cancer, am in fairly good shape and am very active. I was told by my doctor that this form of cancer has no rhyme or reason and is the most common form of cancer for guys age 18 - 35, and I am 34. But unlike most other cancers if it is cought early enough the cure rate if close to 100%. My doctor told me mine seems to have been cought fairly early and after some radiation treatment I should be ok.
Like most guys I tend to never go to the doctor..only if something is bleeding and won't stop, is broken, or has fallen off. But due to my wife'* persistance, ie nagging, I got this checked out...she has probably saved my life. My message to you guys in this age group is if you, or your wife, girlfriends feel anything strange down there or if you have any strange pains GET IT CHECKED OUT ASAP. For the women in this group make sure your husbands or significant others check themselves out too, if they won't do it you can do it for them...they probably won't mind too much.
Well I'm getting off my soap box now. That'* all I have to say for now.
Peace and good health.

Yes it is. I am the same way he is. If you dont go to the doctor, no one else is going for you. Gotta get up and do it or else. Also, I was looking at the General Chat views
