Default What'* this plug in my trunk? CD changer plug I hope?!?!?!?

Can anyone identify this little black box on the right fender wall of my trunk? I'm hoping it'* the CD changer control but I doubt it It has PED 1-12-M6 on it.

If not can someone send a picture of what the plug looks like? I'm searching for a clean way to install an IPOD without an FM modulator or cassette adapter.

Looks kinda like a ground module of a sort. All black wires leading in, and a metal mounting tab. But I'm not real familiar with 00+
