What breed is your horse, and what seat do you ride?

Hi Miami My horse is an arabian/quarter horse cross. I ride english and do a little bit of everything...I focus on dressage with my horse, but do jumping with the horses I ride in my weekly lessons at another barn.

BTW...(and i told jim this too) i think you are very beautiful in that picture posted of you.

Thank you! It'* an old picture...I'm not that skinny anymore, but I still look basically the same. The horse I used to have was an arab! They're so full of personality and so pretty...I wonder if the quarterhorse mix part calms the hot-headedness the arabs are famous for...

For the most part, yes. He was a real fireball when I first got him. Now we are building a solid repore and developing trust he has calmed down signifigantly. I am doing some extensive natural horsemanship training with him. In some pictures he looks pure arab, in others he looks like a tank (qh) even though he'* really not. Now that he'* gained more weight he looks more qh except in the head and the hind quarters. Here'* a good arab-type photo of him...

Ooooooooo....Nice! Mine was three when we got him and hadn't been trained yet, so that was a learning experience...for everyone involved. He was actually really good most of the time, but he periodically had his moments when he'd almost kill me...

A quick lesson on geneology. Chances are good that your future boy child will look like your wife and your girl child will look like you.
Not always true but a good bet that he will be short and she will be tall.
