theres a way around everything if your willing to spend the time effort an money on it, but I'm sure theres no one on here that would try anything of that nature anyways

not really if you think about it get the server logs of the moderators passwords an then your a mod

To become a Mod the sneaky way that you're talking about, you'd have to hack an Admin'* account Or better yet, all 3, as we'd log on and catch you. You would also have to be fairly familiar with the php software, AND you'd have to have prior knowledge of a couple funny little settings/configurations we've set up for the mods In other words, you still wouldn't see/be able to do much of what our mods do.

Any attempt at modifying/hacking the db could be very easily rectified. We pull backups 2 or 3 times a week

I wouldn't think of hacking a DB. But my future career will involve investigating those kind of things.
