Honestly its an internal decision, in which the existing moderators brainstorm. When we feel overrun or swamped or the membership has grown the call is made to name a new moderator. We look for particular traits and personalities, one who is respected, is a presence on the board and one that reflects the best interests of the Club.

So far so good.
