My feelings for this issue are as strong as yours Ryan but at the other end. The constitution thats defines my freedom is being eroded and that document does not define the amount or type of weapons or ammo. But as our civility increases and society gets complacent we are forgetting what are freedoms are and listening to people that gain the most from taking away these rights. I just dont believe the government is wise enough or doing things in my interest to just put down offensive weapons and let them take care of things. This is the government that sent a 19 year old kid to slaughter people that had no understanding of what the world arena of politics was thinking then in 73 and to this day I still have no understanding for that conflict or the one thats taken so many lives in an Arab Country where not a shred of evidence has been found to legitimize the expense of money and American lives lost.
sure he was a despot ruler but the lies and bs that were conjured to make the conflict happen just validify my position. Sorry for the tension.

You're right, collapsable stocks don't make a gun any more deadly. I tihnk that large mags do, a little bit at least. It saves that much reload time, which would have some effect.
Either way, hi-cap mags are really not necessary, and neither are collapsable stocks or full auto.
In the end, I will never own a firearm.

wow. this thread is super fascinating. i'd definitely like to hear the outcome of your altercation though! glad that we live in a free country (defended by men with guns) so that those who choose can own a gun...and those that prefer not to, can have their opinion as well. just remember, criminals will ALWAYS be able to procure guns. it'* the law-abiding citizens that suffer when we outlaw self-protection. in any case bandit, keep us updated.

I dont think it'* an altercation Mr. B just two people on different ends of the spectrum of somethingI have a personal issue with... mentally and physically. We both got carried away and have talked privately and so put away the shields , there wont be any more mud flinging here
I'm not gonna touch the trigger on my 1911, it'* perfect as is. And the Kel-tec has a 8lb trigger pull, and a LONG trigger pull. When i pull the trigger on that one, i REALLY have to mean it.

I custom built my 45 from the ground up. Only the frame and slide are Colt, and both have been modified. All internal parts are aftermarket, and custom jobs by me, including the grips. My trigger pull is EXACTLY 3.1 lbs, and very crisp.

You shouldn't need more than 100HP to move your vehicle, either. Any more than that is dangerous. Ideally, you could get away with say, 85 horsepower. It should get you up to the maximum speed limit. If you need more than 100HP, than you should have waited for traffic to clear.

Ideally it should just take one shot, if that. Now, I realise that this isn't always the case, but 10 rounds should be more than enough. The way I see it, if you are in a situation that requires more than 10 rounds, you should have gotten out of that situation through other means long ago, or learn how to shoot.
lol

Nobody ever feels their hair falling out, or their freedoms being taken away slowly. It just seems to happen, slowly, and without a good reason.
