Default Holly gopher!!!

Ok bonny owners. How many of you have had this happen on your car?
I decided to charge up my battery on my 94 as she'* sitting idle in the driveway for sale. After running the car for about 15 minutes I shut her down and decided to put the bra back on my hood that I had taken off a while back to clean. So I opened the hood and holy sh** this big a** gopher jumps out of my hood and makes a bee line for my garage!!! I don't know who was scared more, me or the freakin gopher! Good thing he didn't eat any wiring under there during his brief stay. And I thought that was the supercharger whining!!!!

A gopher was under the hood? wow.... weird....
Surprised he didn't run when you started the car..... or be killed/hurt by the moving parts.

Over the years some of my cars have eaten cats in the winter time. Big mess, loud scream, and the loss of someones pet. Now I bang the hood of my work beater in the morning to wake any guests before I start it up

Well, my sister'* high school boyfriend went home one night to hear a wierd noise when he got there. Found one of our barn cats hiding in the fender of his Chevelle.

I've found evidence of a critter of some sort under my hood. Chewed injector wires and a little fur. Squirrel I think.

Buddy of mine called one morning and asked for my help. Told me to bring my stuff to fix wiring on his car.... (like I got a special toolbox full, right?)

There were acorns and oak branches next to the completely chewed through and 4" missing piece of like 8 gauge wire going to his starter solonoid. I figure it was a squirrel.

He starts it more often now...

You know if I had a Honda or Toyota I would wonder why the replaced the hamsters with squirrels.

That would have scared the beejeebies outta me!! A friend of mine lost a snake up in their car and had to take apart the dashboard.

I know that once I heard about mice gnawing on wires/upholstery and insurance covered it under comprehensive.
