back in stock form i could pull 19 if iset the cruise at 70 and didnt have to touch it for the entire trip
(BUbba and i used to make 220 mile one way runs up north but if i went to 75 i only got 18.

i never run my car under a quarter tank even though i know it can run for a while when the needles under E its just a habit ive formed. and i reset my trip every oil change usually

just out of curiosity you still have the tbi on the 383 or did you put a carb on there?

my old truck was a tbi 350/5spd 2wd and i could get 22 hwy, i had a bed cover, cat "delete", and some other stuff.

now i get 15 or less with this vortec, its hauling alot more weight i guess though.

I guess I got here late, but maybe if they found a cheaper method of making ethanol it would be more feasible to drive with. The problem is that ethanol isn't close to being lowered in price because it costs too much to transport it alone, not to mention how much it costs to raise the corn (or whatever other organic material) to make it with.
