so true! my payment is $326 a month and fuel costs me around $50 a week to go back and forth to work. if i use E85 i use about $80 in fuel for the same amount of trips

hmm lets see i get aabout 280 miles out of a full tank in bubba and thats 25 gallons about 85 bucks to fill up so no way would i convert just to run 120 bucks to fill it and get less mileage..**** if i wanna do that ill drive the plow truck it gets a whopping 5mpg

The only thing I would consider converting over to is LPG. Conversion kits are about a grand for everything including the tank. It pumps LPG in to the throttle body, so easy to install. Shuts off the fuel injectors. Run out of LPG and flip a switch and your back on gas. And at about $1.25 a gallon and mileage better then E85, well worth looking in to.

do your cars have the computers in them that tell you how much mpg you're getting? or do you just figure it out yourself? im curious to know what ive been getting.

both my bonnie and the Imp have it done through the comp.

easy way to figure it out is to divide gallons put in VS miles driven

Corporate corn growers get rich, politicians get richer, and half the world starves because they can't afford to buy grain..... nice job.

Top off the tank, reset the trip, drive a week and top off tank. 100 miles, 4 gallons of gas, 25 mpg. One week only gives you an idea. Need to watch it week after week. I just look at how much I put in the tank each week, and I know what I drive. I get about 12 with the truck.

I just replaced the coil on the truck today, it was bad. And that would kill my mileage. I'm hopping it will go up now. 15-18 would make me happy(er)
