You are not the first for that one. I have been asked dozens of times if I had a V8 under the hood. Its usually the first thing a Honda owner says after loosing a race.
I Tell them it is a V6 in need of a tune up and I got 100'* of friends with the same car and they are alot faster than me

This thread sums up the reason the forum exists. It'* not here to serve one person, one ideal or one car. It'* here for the masses and to help them. That'* reason number one why I am happy to share what little I know with as many as I can, the satisfaction of seeing a post like your Rach.

Not sure I'm the nicest.. I did get a good giggle out of your solution to jacking up the car.

Just wait til you see what we have planned for you at NEBF. I think you are going to like it.

Not only am I most of the way through schooling to be a mechanic but I have owned and worked on many a car... but still I learn something new on this site every time I get on here. I am Happy to hear about any other women loosing the fear of messing things up under the hood of a car though, its not so scary huh... actually quite easy and with some know how ( which you seem to be soaking up like a sponge) and common since your gonna be just as good as the Guys !

Go Girl!

Oh and Yeah Im Gonna have to agree that Bill is the best especially at answering the obvious for me and over and over again.

Yeah, I never imagined I would be so involved with this group- I just can't wait to meet more people I'm comin to NEBF no matter WHAT.. brace yourselves, I'm crazy

Oh and Brian, I can't figure out what'* causing that silly code, so I'm just going to have it cleared and see if it comes back again. I suspect it came up just due to wheezy-ness after being floored into the pavement like 15 times that day. lol, poor Clyde

I don't know how long I've been lurking around here but, in spite of everyone'* best efforts, I'm still a dumb-a$$. And it'* not like you folks haven't tried! I take a little pride, however, in knowing you guys can take one look at me then feel much better about yourself. So I do have a purpose for being here.

Rach, not only am I impressed with the fearless attitude you have towards working on your car and tackling the job yourself, I'm equally impress at how much your writing skills have improved! I'm not being derrogatory or critical here, but take a look at some of your early posts and compare them to now...you're amazing.

what the h...!?...

Awwwww...DADNABIT...THEY'RE AT IT AGAIN!...I just noticed the license plate on my sig pic. Crap. How long has that been there? Man, that'* nice work! So much for Boosty and all those "nice guy" comments...I know who put the perps up to this...
