i had a nice CB setup in my wrangler, but i left it in when i sold it... it had a LOUD external speaker so i could hear it with the top down doing 7o MPH.

Looks great. You will like the 4.3 it is a real stump puller. Not bad on the gas either. You should get 20 to 22 MPG.

shouldnt he get better than 22 with a V6 and a 5 speed? I'm pretty sure my 5.3 V8 and auto 4 can get 20 in that light of truck.

Strange my Grandfathers with the extended cab and 4.8 wont get 20 and he drives slow as a snail?

yes but check the weight of the extended cab. He has just about the lightest truck besides the short box. Mine is the same body weight as his, just a different engine. I dont have actually numbers from my truck though, because I never fill the tank up due to its size.
