Default Good friends house burned down last night :(

Last night, while at work, the police showed up and said that my friends ( Dave ) house was on fire. He didn't know if anyone was inside or not, as his parents and girlfriend might have been there.

Luckily, nobody was there at the time, but his house is a complete loss. Some other co-workers drove by his house this morning on the way in to work and said the only thing left standing is the chimney :(

He just bought the house in the last six months or so, and he JUST got done doing a total remodel to it.

Such a TERRIBLE thing to happen to a 19 year old who is doing so well right now. I am sure that he has insurance, but you never know.

Please have him in your thoughts during this rough time.....

Thank you.

Thanks guys.

From what I understand, it was an electrical fire.

Is it possible something got wired improperly?

Sucks to lose a house after putting lots of work into it. Losing a home from fire, tornadoes, floods, anything is a terrible thing.
