getting my bonn painted metallic black...i dropped it off wednesday and the guy was like "well have it done 2 moro(Thursday)"

Today is Friday and i called them and they said that it will be done on moday....

ugh...people **** me off....i miss my car... :(

I work at a body shop and sometimes you just get behind. And also it seems like its hard to make the paint to just give it time young grashoppa lol

I would rather wait and have them do a good job then rush and do a poor job.

The guy shouldn't have told you it would be done Thursday. I do bodywork and paint and I make no schedule promises, only that I will work as efficiently as possible.

Ya thats true,,,luckly i called instead of drivinf way over there

i honestly live like 30 miles from the body shop...but ya i hope they do a good job

Unfortunately, it'* a fairly standard thing to say "tomorrow" without taking workload into account.
If they do a good job, I wouldn't be too upset if they get behind schedule.

i would actually be upset if i got it back in one day it takes a lot longer than a day to do a good paint job

At least your not in my shoes. I dropped my 02 off on 2/9 to have the front bumper repaired from a minor bump. They were also to strip the hood and repaint it too. I was told 3-4 days. They still have my car Yesterday I was told they didn't like how the hood turned out and they were gonna do it again butthey would have it ready this Tuesday. I won't even have a chance to pick it up until next Saturday because of my work schedule. :(
