So, what is the purpose of the cover on the top of the engine? Do I need to worry about torque specs for the bolts?

torque wrench probably not necessary, just dont over do it. the last thing youd want to do is strip the alum threads.

idk if you can guestimate 15 ft/lbs, but that should be fine.

the cover is just a mounting point for the coil and icm and that is all as far as torque just a good snug is fine just make sure all surfaces are clean as that is the ground path aswell
