Good! This is really coming along. Well, even on the Bonneville forum, I can get so much help about another engine. This is great.
So, what is the purpose of the cover on the top of the engine? Do I need to worry about torque specs for the bolts?

idk if you can guestimate 15 ft/lbs, but that should be fine.

the cover is just a mounting point for the coil and icm and that is all as far as torque just a good snug is fine just make sure all surfaces are clean as that is the ground path aswell
