ya keep the 390 till you got the trany and all the other stuff for it to go in my friend just did that convertion and had to weld in new mounts and find a bell housing and sutch

I got the tranny. I have a 390 4v, a C4 auto tranny, and a 9" rear end up under a ragged out 65 mercury.
