Default A Ford saved my Bonne from another Ford

I got to sleep in today ( ) but around 9:30 my roomate comes and wakes me up and says "I need your help so I can get out of the driveway.". So i get up and get dressed. I go outside and see that his car (97ish Grand Marquee) has slid down the driveway and come to a rest millimeters from my drivers door. Well, the way the cars are sittting I can't pull back away from him without possibly loosing my drivers mirror on his fender, and he can't get his RWD car to go up the driveway on all the ice. So I had an idea....

I went and started up my POS '81 f-150 4x4 which happens to be sitting at the top of the driveway. I drove it closer, hooked up a tow rope and had some fun with my beater truck and 4L. My roomate popped his car into nuetral and I amazingly had no problem at all dragging his 3600+ lb car up an icy driveway and away from my prececious Bonneville.

I knew I bought that truck for a reason.

Stupid hooligans.....

That' $350 on the F-150 saved atleast $350 on a body shop bill maybe....

I think my car may have slid some, it was parked last night after the snow started falling.

My Z71 pulled a Ford out of a ditch, a Ford out of the dump (backed his rear axle over the drop edge) and a Ford AND a boat on a trailer when he slid too far back down a gravel boat ramp

Once there was a tractor-trailer pulling a mobile home jack-knifed on the highway, backing up traffic for miles...they had to wait for another truck to get there to pull it out of the way. My dad pulls up in his F-150 and says, "Strap 'er on!! I'll pull it out of the way!!" The guy looked at him and said, "It'* your truck..." with a slight shake of the head. The hooked this mobile home to my dad'* F-150, which squatted it, of course, but moved it clear out of the way. Here'* an old pic of that awesome truck. It had a 351 Cleveland in it. LOL, that'* my dad when he was about my age:
