Default Fellow Technicians...Mekaniks....

so how many of us are there on here and how many of you are a fellow member of iATN?
I have been using it for a little while and find it great, and i think i will be upgrading to a full sponsorship membership/access..

BTW for others, this is a professional wedsite/technical forum so dont join up unless you are a professional and make your living with this stuff...they will boot those who clearly have no knowledge/ask stupid questions...

just wondering how many comrads I have that use it... or any of the other technician sites....

http://www.iatn.net/

the members will know the members only portion....

iATN is amazing. I don't have a full subscribtion yet, just the 'guest' subscription so I can post questions but can't search.

yeah i have the non sponsoring membership also, but i'm thinking that 10$ a month isnt bad for access to all those waveforms and known good patterns etc...I was on there with a buddy from another shop and boy is there ALOT of info there!

do you ever do any mode $06 diagnostics? i wish more manufactureres were using it and had the data available to the aftermarket technicians...i guess at least having ford/toyota'* info is Good at least
Daimler Chrysler is the WORST! you have to pull the info out their *** to get it...thankfully the one time i could call a bud at a chrysler dealership to get me some data on that!
DC better get on the ball because they arent gonna move up to selling more cars unless the independants are able to repair their vehicles...why buy a car that can only be serviced at one place? hopefully them damn europeeons will get the idea of what a capitalist consumer market wants...

My biggest beef with diagnostic stuff is stupid fords before they went OBD2. And Mazdas before OBD2.

DC and their ABS/TC is impossible too. They really attempt to lock you out of their data. I could go on and on. The one thing I DO like about DC is the ability to plug in my scantool and have it automatically pull up the vehicle/motor/year.
