Greetings fellow Bonneville fans!
Finally I've found a site devoted to the Pontiac Bonneville! My first car was an 89' SE my parents had bought used in December of 93', after nine years and 100,000 miles on the car'* original 60,000 the car was handed down to me in July of 02'. It proved to be a great first car for a 16 year old. Reliable, safe, and great gas mileage! In November of 2003 I had an opportunity to purchase a 92' SE with just under 65,000 original miles and keyless entry, power seats, cruise control, alloy wheels, premium sound and steering wheel stereo controls for only $2,300! Of course I jumped on that deal imediately, fortunately it had belonged to the late mother of one of my dad'* friends so I wasn't worried that I was getting a bum deal. This car proves to be great for a full time student who drives at least 200 miles a week between home, school and work. I have gotten quite a few compliments about it!
Welcome!

This is regarding the lack of an EGR valve on the 92 models, and what it might mean to you. There are preventive measures you can take to help prevent this.
Some 92'* were really odd animals under the hood. Some had plastic upper intakes like the 93+, some had aluminum. Some had the old Magnavox Ignition, some had the newer Delco style. Some had EGR'*, some didn't. Pontiac was really in a state of confusion in 1992!
Please put your year and model in your signature, and if you have any questions about these crazy things I just told you, give us a picture of your engine bay, and we'll sort it all out for you
