Hi, this is my first post on the site, like it so far. I have a 2004 Bonneville SE....had it since March 04, bought it brand new, only have a little over 5,000 miles on it now. Great car, lots of comfort, and fun to drive. This is my 4th Pontiac. (Have owned: 95 Sunfire GT, 98 Grand AM GT, and currently own a 72 GTO). My Bonneville is real new, so I don't want to do a lot to it at this point, but would like to know what modifications can be done, that don't cost a lot, to make it a little faster off the line. Other than that, the car is great. Nice to meet all of you!

there are some appearance mods such as clear corners for the front and clear turn signals for the back. Performance wise you can always put a intake tube and filter with out spending alot of $. There are alot of options for the Series 2 performance

From one 04 Bonniville owner to another, Welcome to Da Club. What color is your Bonneville?

Graystone Bonneville SE. Chrome wheels, spoiler, traction control, steering wheel radio controls, and CD with Cassette are the options I got. (Oh yeah, cargo net too. ) (Mine is not as flashy as your SLE Crimson tintcoat. Your car looks real nice. My wife wanted cloth seats, and thought the SE was expensive enough, and didn't want to step up to the SLE. My last two Pontiacs were GT models, so I came down a little in trim, but the Bonneville is the top line Pontiac, so it'* still way better than the Sunfire and Grand Am I had.

As you have already discovered the 04 Pontiac Bonneville is a fantastic car. The ride and performance is so much better than my 95 Bonneville that there really is not too much of a comparison. I know there are a lot of members who will disagree with me on this issue but after all it is my opinion.

So far my only gripe is the floor mats are not well made at all. The ones in my 95 Bonneville were still going strong when I sold the car at 200,000 miles. The driver’* side mat on the 04 Bonneville is already creased where the floor pan angles up to the firewall. The passenger side mat is not doing too well either and the passenger side has minimal usage.

New mats are on my Christmas wish list!

PS. Graystone was my third color choice for the new car. It really is a beautiful color on the 04 Bonneville.

Yeah, you know what I've done with my floor mats since new, is have them upside down. The black rubber back doesn't take a beating like the carpet side. But, now going into winter, with snow and slush, I will probably put some other mats in there to keep these nice. By the way, how did you insert your photo of your car on your message?
